No, our CSA didn’t give us 1000 squashes this week, but aren’t they beautiful?

I was out in California when the delivery came, so I failed to snap a picture. The good news is, with the transition to lots of storage vegetables, I don’t feel intense anxiety to give Jason a clear game plan of how to make sure nothing goes bad before my return.

CSA Series {Week 19} | Things I Made Today

Jason and I are running the pass-the-metaphorical-baton relay race where as soon as one of us gets home the other one is off somewhere new. So while Jason is up north backpacking with his brother, Theo and I are hanging out at home in this dreary rain. I’m trying to convince him to help me make some squash soup, but he isn’t interested. Perhaps one of these other ideas will pique his interest:

Pumpkin

Kale

Daikon

Rutabaga

Roma Tomatoes

Bok Choy

Butternut Squash

Red Potatoes

Broccoli
