ok, the yellow in this room comes across a little more intense than it is in real life. but the point here is abundant sunshine and windows.

we’ve technically already had guests sleep in this room 3 times:

  • ann took a nap on the mattress on the floor on the first day we moved in.
  • rochelle and josh got to sleep in the room when it was freshly painted but sans headboard and wheel stoppers (sorry)
  • jon was the first to actually use it in it’s complete state.

Here is the list of original projects, crossed off for my satisfaction:

  • paint room
  • buy slats for bed frame since box spring did not fit upstairs
  • put feeties on the bed so it doesn’t roll around
  • mount the headboard to the wall (it’s currently just leaning)
  • hang things on the walls
