Have you guys noticed the intense amount of rain we’ve gotten this summer?

Maybe we care more than the average resident—after all, we’re the ones with our streets torn up and no storm drains or gutters that notice. Our basement floods with every rain but we have learned to deal with it. And most definitely our farmer’s are feeling it—with monsoons messing up their harvesting schedule.

But you know who loves it more than anyone? Theo. He demands to run in the puddles with Thomas boots but no pants. We oblige, because secretly we wish we could do it too.

I didn’t get a chance to snap a picture of our vegetables when they were delivered on Thursday because I was up at our cabin, but I was so excited about the contents of this basket I thought I’d share my plans anyways. Here they go:

Cucumbers

Romaine Lettuce

Kale

Green Bell Peppers

Beets

Dragon Tongue Beans

Sweet Corn

Summer Squash

Cilantro

Eggplant

Tomatoes
