Please explain to me how it’s 90 degrees at the end of September.

At least the vegetables are starting to feel like fall. Beets, and carrots, and kohlrabi, and early winter squashes. They understand me. They understand that I’m looking at soups and stews. They understand that I took an arm knitting class and made a giant wool blanket this Saturday because it’s end of September and I expected to be snuggled up under said blanket this evening.

CSA Series {Week 16} | Things I Made Today

Here’s to hoping for next weekend. Despite the heat, this week’s CSA is looking mighty nice, and I’ve got lots of ideas of what to do with it:

Tomates

Carrots

Zucchini

Delicata Squash

Red Onion

Broccoli

Acorn Squash

Collard Greens

Yellow Onions

Beets

Potatoes

Kohlrabi
