every once in a while things just don’t work out.

i pinned this recipe from feasting at home quite some time ago. i love the idea of bechamel sauce in lasagna, i love that the lasagna is made with egg roll wrappers instead of noodles. there is so much delicious cheese in this dish, how could things go wrong?

in all honesty it’s not that the dish wasn’t tasty. it’s that it looked like slop and it was underwhelming for the amount of work that went into it. for the recipe, refer to the blog above. the photos are gorgeous and the reviews are good, so i’m sure i did something wrong. it happens!

    I made this about a month ago, and it was delicious, though I did over salt a bit. The chicken can get dry easily, too. I’d make it again without chicken and double the mushrooms.

      Chicken was good in mine, it was the general consistency I wasn’t happy with. Did yours turn out more flaky like the original or was the sauce just running over everything?
